Hanseaticsoft at Europort 2017, November 7-10

Meet us at booth 3304 and experience innovative ship management!

We will be exhibiting at booth 3304 with our partner Lloyd's Register

Europort, held biennially in the European port city of Rotterdam, is the international maritime exhibition and conference focusing on innovations in maritime technology, shipbuilding, repair and conversion. Europort is one of the world’s leading meeting places for maritime professionals, attracting around 30,000 visitors and 1,100 exhibiting companies. The event provides a forum for buyers and sellers to conduct business and to exchange knowledge about latest shipping industry developments, and is aimed at senior executives and managers from ship owners and operators, shipyards, ship designers and naval architects, technical engineers, ship brokers, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, as well as other maritime industry professionals.

Each edition of Europort is themed to reflect the key issues affecting the maritime industry, through the seminars, conferences and workshops held alongside the exhibition, and through the structure of the exhibition itself. The themes chosen for Europort 2017 are: Big Data, The New Environmental Age and The Human Factor.

You can meet us at booth 3304 where we will be exhibiting with our partner Lloyd’s Register. Next to our Cloud Fleet Manager, our all-in-one solution for the efficient management of your shipping company, we are going to present our Purchase module, the Inspection Report as well as our new Maintenance module.

The future of ship management

The future of ship management

In addition to our modules we are also going to present the Microsoft HoloLens and our vision for the future of ship management. Rather than immersing us in an alternate universe as virtual reality (VR) does, devices that use augmented reality (AR) such as the HoloLens enhance our actual surroundings by adding holograms into our field of vision to interact with. We see enormous potential for this technology to simplify processes and tasks in shipping. For instance, using the HoloLens the process of inspection could be made even easier than it already is using our Inspection Report app on your mobile device. All that an inspector would need is the HoloLens since the questionnaire could be displayed in the room and pictures could be taken directly with the camera within the glasses. No need for pen, paper, camera or even a mobile device.

If you are interested in learning more about our vision or would like a hands-on demo, simply pay us a visit. We are looking forward to meeting you!
