Disturbance Integration with Purchase

Process service cases separately from the purchase process and communicate directly with the purchaser on an order

Disturbance Integration with Purchase

Shipping companies usually create their service orders with a purchase software that allows them to easily monitor costs and make inquiries to suppliers directly. Unfortunately, in practice the actual preparations for a service are often carried out outside of the purchase software. These include communication with the vessel and the supplier or involving other departments.

The possibility to connect the purchase software with a ticketing system for the vessels / fleet has always been a gap. We have now closed this gap with the integration of Purchase with Disturbance.

Reap the Benefits

From now on, customers who use both Disturbance as well as Purchase have the option to process actual service cases separately from the purchase process. At the same time, they can order parts and services for a case and track these orders even without having access to the purchase software. That way users can easily keep track of their services and the corresponding purchase orders.

With our well-established comments function, it is now also possible to communicate directly with the purchaser on an order. You no longer need to write countless emails flooding each other’s inboxes. This simplifies collaboration tremendously especially at a time when working from home is becoming ever more important: Enabling employees to fulfill their tasks in a team from anywhere in the world.

This new feature is available for free to all customers having an active Disturbance and Purchase subscription.
