We are continuously upgrading Cloud Fleet Manager, adding new functionality, enhancements and improving the overall usability. With this article, we would like to give you a brief overview of some of the greater edits to the system. CFM Maintenance allows you to plan your maintenance work centrally, precisely and according to your requirements. It gives you full visibility of your fleet status and lets you regain control over the maintenance jobs of your fleet.
To provide users of CFM with even more information, we added a new field to the “Vessel Overview” report. It now includes the internal code of components, both in the report and its export.
With CFM Crew Portal, the management of crewing processes becomes much simpler and more transparent while reducing administrative effort. It enables your seafarers to autonomously view and manage their personal data such as certificates and to access company news and shared data.
To reflect the overall look and feel of Cloud Fleet Manager and make the user experience more consistent, we updated the email template sent to users for their account activation or password reset. It now reflects our corporate identity and features the Cloud Fleet Manager logo to enable the immediate identification of trustworthy emails sent through our system.
CFM Procedures enables you to send instructions to your vessels fast and easily, making sure that your fleet is up to date regarding e.g. safety instructions - achieving compliance with ease. Effortlessly send company policies and work instructions, or assign responsibilities aboard your ships.
To ease management of various forms and to speed up navigation when looking for a specific form, we enhanced our options for filtering:
In addition to the option to see all forms in a timeline view, it is now possible to assign forms to categories and have the system display them correspondingly.
To enhance clarity further, it is also possible to group forms of specific categories.
CFM Purchase provides you with all sections of the purchasing process at one point in an intelligently structured manner, gives you full control over your budgets and allows your suppliers to work directly with this information. Thanks to an intuitive dashboard that features the most relevant information and upcoming tasks, CFM Purchase always focuses on what is important and streamlines the complete purchasing workflow.
To reflect the fast pace of processes in the purchasing department, we enhanced our "Order API". Orders are now also marked as modified using the public API, if some important fields not directly linked to the order, such as the requisition name were changed. This way you are always aware of any relevant changes.
To ease communication with verifiers of Inventories of Hazardous Material (IHM) and to speed up processes, we have extended the information provided through our public API. The public delivery API now also returns information on spare parts. With this new enhancement, information on spare parts that contain potentially hazardous material can now be directly forwarded to verifiers and entered into the IHM.
With CFM Schedule & Agents you can organise your fleet’s schedules and agent master data in one shared resource while letting your crew take part in schedule management. Schedules, as well as agent’s master data, can be directly entered on board and synchronised with the office, making the information automatically accessible in CFM Portal, CFM Partner Portal and in your mobile app. This way you are always up to date and aware of all changes.
To enhance efficiency when managing your fleet schedules and free up time by automating tasks, we enhanced our importing capabilities. Schedule data from MAC can now be directly imported to CFM using their API.
CFM Templates is the collection of all your templates. Hamper differences in layouts and simplify the understanding on both your customers’ and your side. We offer you all templates for the respective departments of your company. Whether employment contracts, order forms, voyage or time charter invoices, vacation requests or generic forms: With CFM Templates you are all geared up.
To further increase the flexibility of our "Seafarer Card" template for the use in CFM Crewing, we added the following new fields:
